John Tenniel and his white rabbit tea cup may be late but you are on time for Childrens Tea Party sets and Ideas as we join the Mad Tea Party 2015Welcome To Children’s Tea Party Sets and Ideas! Unlike the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, you are NOT late! In fact, you are right on time for the latest Mad Tea Party. I’m so glad you came! I’ve been working for days preparing for a fun Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter tea party with all sorts of ideas and cute decorations and, of course, tea cups and teapots to share with my grandkids AND with you! Do come in and enjoy yourself!

My table is set with all sorts of cute pretties like this adorable teapot vase full of fresh flowers.

Alice in Wonderland and Mad Hatter tea party ideas include a cute teapot vase

I have to admit, when it comes to Alice in Wonderland, I tend to lean to the old and classic versions of everything. I know this Paul Cardew porcelain teapot isn’t THAT old, but it is older than many and I think it is so cute with Alice on top and the Mad Hatter and Alice on the face. He did make such cute teapots, don’t you think? I was visiting a friend last week and they had a couple of these. It was so much fun to see them “in action” so to speak.

This Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter teapot is much larger so it would work well for your real tea party ideas

He created some adorable children tea cups and tea sets too – made out of porcelain and both regular size and extra-tiny – so tiny, they are probably more for imaginary tea or home decor items. But still fun to enjoy for this whimsical tea party, may I say.

Of course, we can’t have a tea party without dainty delicacies. Would you like a creampuff?

Or how about a cupcake?

Don’t forget to leave room for some cake as well.

Did you have enough to eat? How about adding some fun and games to all of these delightful tea party foods, decorations and other ideas – starting with movies and books. There are plenty to choose from. For my grand children and you, I was torn between Disney’s 1951 version of Alice In Wonderland, which includes such fun song delights as the White Rabbit singing “I’m Late, I’m Late” (I still love to sing that to my grandchildren), along with the Happy Un-Birthday idea from the Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland Tea Party Scene. Did you ever see it? Here’s a trailer for it:

(There is currently a full version of this cartoon on YouTube as well for you to enjoy. Click here to see it.)

But I also love the fully vintage 1933 version with an all-star cast my grandkids wouldn’t know but that my senior mom and I love, and maybe you too, so I decided to also  buy the DVD of it for one of my Alice In Wonderland Mad Hatter tea party ideas. Here’s the trailer for that one – what do you think?

Being a total bookworm, my tea parties often have books involved. There were so many fun choices but again, I tend to lean to the classic style for reading:

I loved the original book and movie of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking glass my grandchildren lean more to the Disney versions

I also enjoy the modern cartoon styles for fun activities for my grandkids to enjoy, like this one with stickers, just for them – and you!

This Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter tea party book would be great for several ideas including decorations activities and quiet timeOur final treat for our Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter tea party is one of those silly fun ideas that puts a smile on every kid’s face (everyone I’ve ever met, anyway) – a teapot or tea cup (or both) pinata full of delightful goodies and treats.
